About Book

This book is a biography kinda book. It is the story of the Malala, who fought for girls education and girls rights and was shot in the head by the Taliban just because she went to school. Malala was born in a small village in Pakistan in 1997. She was raised in a rural area called "Swat Valley." In that place, taliban groups, who are all getting furious about their religion, were spread throughout the Swat Valley. They were opposed to the idea that a girl is free to go out. At the time, they were also against girls education. They started destroying schools that did not follow their commands. At that time, Malala Yousafzai, daughter of the school principal, gave her voice against the Taliban group through the media with the help of her father. So the reason she was shot by the Taliban. After that, she recovered and lived in England with her family. And she was honored for her cause with the Noble Peace Prize in 2014.

When she was shot, she was just a 15-year-old school kid. And this book tells the story and emotion of that school kid. This book did not contain any horror, even though her life has horror.

Simply this book about story of Malala that expressed by her own.
