Apple and Orange - Episode 9

Apple and Orange by vino4d - Episode 9

Jobs for Computer Engineering freshers

I typed the keyword on internet, pressed the zooming mirror icon on phone.

"Always using phone... Then how will you succeed?" Mother yelled, "I don't know what's in that". She served me the rice and left from my room.

Viewing internet results, I mixed the rice and sambar by spoon, was folded my leg on ground. Some brown coated creature crawled on my plate.

"Hey, Cockroach! Want rice." I spoke to cockroach. It chewing the grains near the plate though its antenna sensing other grains.

Boing

Notification, a company welcoming me for interview. For chit-chating with American. A living studied engineering young man, ready to waste the lifetime on chatting with anonymous foreign people, was sounds myopic. But the money was always being the kingmaker.

Cockroach topped on the plate and continued its feast. I put down the smartphone and began my dinner.

"That's mine." I tapped the plate by the ever-silver spoon as I caught the sight of cockroach. The cockroach strolled away from the plate and carried on its stomach filling process.

"C'mon baby, its yours" I baited the turtles to the basking platform from the water area.

Orange was following the pellet as is dog craving for a bone. But Apple had a super intelligence green brain, she known i will nurture her doubtlessly, was calm and cool. I trained them for—eh? I had no idea why I gave training to turtles. Anyways thats not a big deal. There is no law stating only do things for reasons.

"Get out from the cot" My mother said as held the broom.

Is my mom beat me with broom.

"What are you staring. Stand up. I'm gonna clean the room"

"Oh cleaning ah." I sighed.

I protected the turtle house by towel. My mother cleaning racks and stuffs under the cot. She found bunch of newborn mouse at there—five little mouse and one of them was injured.

"Leave this out" My mother said to me.

"No, its mother can't find them out there." I held the newborn—pinkish skinny big headed hairless creature, " Let them stay here"

It was not charming in its babyhood as is in its adulthood. I left them—except injured one— at the same place. The injured one was dead, so I threw out from the window—empty grassland was there.

"What type of kid he is? He is not city man." Grandma grunted, "he is wild man. Is anybody let rats lives at their home.. Brainless mad.."

Major humans like my grandma thinks the world is only for them— humans, no one own anything here, it common for all living creatures. In this earth, without other creatures, humans can't survive for a day.

"Factually, we live at their lands" I said to Grandma. She didn't listen me and roasting me with new phrase " wild man".

"I think, you people often use us for dominance and selfishness than peace and love." My brain said calmly.

Well wisher: dn't live here. Goto some forest.

I typing the reply, and looked up from smartphone. My mom sighted my kids.

"How beautiful they are … look how they swim to my side … ha!" My mom simpered.

"Yeah.. Mom" I noticed my kids, they grinned—don't ask me how turtles grin—as seeing my mom.

My mother extending her arm to touch them but she stayed back.

"Simply touch ma.. "

She shook her head with grin and gazed them without touch.

After such reaction from my mom, I realised one thing: Whatever the thing, the time heals.
