The best psyhological Thriller | The Tell-tale Heart by Edger Allan Poe
The Tell-Tale Heart
The Tell-Tale Heart is a psychological thriller short story written by Edgar Allen Poe. I don't know which country the author is from. but the story was awesome. Ok, let's see about the story of The Tell-tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe.
What is the summary of the story?
It tells the story of a psycho. It starts with the perspective of the protagonist. In the beginning, the hero says, "Why do those people say I have mental illness? I am just sick," then he continued his perception of his discomfort caused by an old man, whose eyes looked like a vulture waiting for his death. So he planned to pluck the eyes, and he killed him in the end. In the climax, he could escape from the police without getting caught for the murder, but he was caught by himself.
Let's analyze it:
"Do you think the person with mental illness will plan and execute the murder without a trace?" the protoganist asked us.
As per this story, the protoganist was a person with mental illness who just did not accept the fact that he had some mental illness. It describes the great human flaw in human nature. Every human thinks they are doing correct. Every human believes that they are right. However, some contradict each other. but everyone thinks they are right. They argue, they justify, they fight, they kill, and they do whatever it takes to prove themselves. Ha! And it also includes mentally ill people.
"Why is it still disturbing me even after killing it!?" the protoganist yelled.
He do crime to satisfy the thought, also caught for it to the same. It sounds like the karma is b*tch, bruh.
"I believe my senses got strong, so I am hearing the sounds of hells and heavens" the protoganist said.
The thought he had was not a fact. but he stuck with the thought and went on as though every human being.
Wow, what a wonderful story!
Ah.. Need to write a review, right?
It deeply discusses and projects human psychology and nature. Kudos to the writer. The narration was good and simple. The reading level was easy, and the length of the story was around 5 to 6 pages. You can finish it in one stretch ! (yeah, I know it is a short story) without getting bored, and you will feel wow at the end. And don't worry, I didn't spoil much of the story. There are a lot (not a big lot, but a tiny lot) of exciting things that I left for your suspense. So go and read The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe.
happy reading :)
